New Computers, Reporter Needed

This past summer some newer computers were donated to our school for the high school. They were Pentium III 550 MHz machines in most cases, but some had missing parts - mainly power supplies. We were able to purchase some very inexpensive and nice looking cases for these computers that were only about $5 each more than the power supplies alone would have cost! Mr. Moore and Mr. Ulmer worked for many hours to build them up into a 25 station computer lab for the high school. The lab is connected to a central server (also new) which runs teaching software for our classes. This is quite a boost in technology for our school and we want to thank Terry Ulmer and Brad Moore as well as some of our teens and several others for their tireless efforts to make it all come together. (Yes,  I did have a small part in it, in case you wondered, but they did almost all of the actual work)

We have an urgent and  serious need for someone to maintain our Macintosh lab in Mrs. Ramsay's room.  They are Macintosh 500-series computers using OS 7.5.1 if I remember correctly. We need an OS CD of whatever the last free release was, which I think -was- 7.5.1 or .2 perhaps?  So if you speak Mac and have some software to donate or some time to spare, please contact Mr. Magill or Mrs. Ramsay.
