  Picture Gallery Policy:

Naturally our first interest in producing this website is to protect the safety and identities of our children. For that reason, we require signed permission slips from each parent before their child's picture is ever used here.

We do not identify children by anything other than first name in our photos. Also, if you do not see your child or friend in some of our pictures, then either their parents prefer not to have their picture used or the child him/herself did not want to be on our website. Its also possible that they were just absent the day we took the pictures. Please understand that the reasons are often very personal and we respect the wishes of all involved completely.

Permissions and Copyrights:

All content is copyright © 1999-2003 by Mark R. Magill, the webmaster, with the following exceptions: Background art is copyright by Windy's Web Design and is used by permission of her posted free-use agreements. The buttons on the site were created by the formerly-free button-making and web design services provided by the good folks at Zy Web, which have since decided to charge for their services. The site pages are maintained using Microsoft Front Page 2000, a gift from our partner, Andrew C. Cooper.

You are free to use, examine and modify the code to your own uses if you wish. If you would like to ask questions about the site, its construction or have found an error that needs attention, please write to the Webmaster and your letter will be acknowledged in person very soon. Comments on how to improve the site are also quite welcome, as we're not experts here! Just learning.

Visitor Tracking Information Collected: PRIVACY STATEMENT

This site uses a common "web tracker" provided by www.sitemeter.com which collects non-personal information about you. It records general information as to what part of the world you called in from, your browser screen-size settings, the length of your visit, what page you entered the site on and what page you left on for example. It does NOT record your name, address or other personal information. Take a look for yourself by clicking on the visitor counter on the home page, as I have configured the tracker to allow public viewing of the collected information.

So... why track users? To see how much use the site is getting and to collect statistics so that over time we can better customize the site. For example: If 90% of all visitors use Internet Explorer for their browser, then it would be safer to use some of the IE-only web page functions than if 90% were Netscape users. This page is a good example: If you're using a current version of Internet Explorer you will see the text move transparently over the top of a stationary background, a function called "watermark." If you are using Netscape, you'll see the entire page scroll, including the images and background. If you're using Netscape now and have IE installed, reload the page in IE and see what I mean. Its a great effect!
